At Venus, corporate social responsibility is of paramount importance. We firmly believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work. Some of the organizations and initiatives we are proud to be involved with include:

IIMPACT: Provides educational opportunities to girls aged six to 14 years from socially and economically disadvantaged communities in India who traditionally have no access to schooling. The aim is to break the cycle of illiteracy that girls from such communities are mired in. This is done through local community based Learning Centers where they are provided meaningful and stimulating education to guide their entry into formal schooling. We have supported the opening of new centers with our own contributions as well as bringing new corporate donors on board for this cause.

Agape: Providing children impacted by AIDS a family-style home, nutritious meals, medical care and an education.

MAD: Make A Difference mobilizes young leaders to achieve equitable outcomes for children in shelters across India. Their core programs focus on empowering children through better emotional health, life skills, exposure, educational support, transition readiness and after care, changing the ecosystem around the child by driving better practices among the institutions that directly affect their lives, primarily shelters, schools, family, state and society, and enabling the sector through better data, sharing knowledge and building coalitions and networks.

America India Foundation: AIF was founded when President Bill Clinton and the Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee recognized the need for a philanthropy platform that would connect the world’s two largest democracies and provide a trusted bridge for meaningful participation in India’s democratic and economic growth for both Americans and Indians. The key programs are focused on Public Health, Livelihoods, Education, Gender Focus, Leadership, Relief and Rehabilitation. A recently highlighted AIF program is MANSI (Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative) as India has over 750,000 fatalities every year during pregnancy.

Easwaramma Trust: Devoted to the spiritual, moral and social uplift of all women. Women are the very heart of the home and the backbone of society. By helping women, this trust extends a healing touch to families, children and communities.
